AT DAWES FAMILY MEDICINE:

We are your health care advocates and look at the “whole picture” (your environment, nutrition and activities) with a focus on prevention and education.  No “sugar-coating” here; we provide a realistic road map to help you maintain your mental and physical well-being.

 

We have developed extremely strong relationships with a large network of Central Coast Health Care specialists should you need to be referred out.  This includes surgical specialists, physical therapists, home health care and further diagnostic testing.

 

We fight hard to get the medication and procedure prior authorizations and referrals from your insurance company.  (a single phone call to the insurance company generally takes about 20-45 minutes per call, per prior authorization)

 

Our providers have a combined team experience of 72 years in medicine!  They work closely together and share the same medical charts to ensure you receive the best medical care.

 

For your convenience, we send your prescriptions to your pharmacy electronically.  Controlled medications, however, are still mandated to be on a paper prescription with a wet signature.

We have dedicated staff and offer Chronic Care coordination for our Medicare patients with two or more chronic diseases that need monitoring.

We have a full service lab and radiology services conveniently located downstairs from our office
